Most people migrate are of not high calibre but mostly economic migrant. A lot of social problem among the ethenic community in the west are result of ill educated migrant with little to offer.
My uncle was asked to be doctor here in UK but he declined whilst he was studying for aspects of medicine. He decided to head back. It is all about people with principles.
I would love to go back but am stuck and my British Wife is too much of desi britisher to go back! For them not have constant running water (so they hyperclean), dust and insects are not how people suppose to live.
The notion of Juhud is not in the dictionary of Western Muslims!!

There are pros and cons, its diffuclt to weigh up which are more:

pros to muslim immgration:
increase islam in non muslim countries
money from rich countries sent back to homelands (in somaliland the economy is kept afloat through western somalis sending money home)
access to the best education to take to the muslim lands
influence decisions in non muslim countries
help the ummah spread more
pakistan has 180million people. a few million less wont hurt the country much
etc


cons
kufr ideologies like secularism filter back to muslim lands
brain drain
westernisation and fitnah of youth, including some becoming murtad
etc

a more extensive list could be drawn up

overall some good has come out of it though

brain drain is a problem, but in nearly every other way Muslim immigration to rich countries helps the country from which the emigre came - especially through the economic boost that remittances sent back home give.

also the world belongs to Allah and Muslim immigration to non-Muslim countries often helps to spread Islam where it was not before.

Sometimes, looking at some of the muslims in the UK,for example, i think it is blessing to the muslim countries that they left.
