What do the deobandi ulama say about these groups and do they support any? What is your position on maulana mawduudi and also how strong are jamaaat islami andare they Ikhwani? I'll look forward to some interesting informAtive replies inshallah |

Bangladesh have a very few good ulema. Why is JI rejected in Indian sub-continent. They place themselves above others (the general masses). They hate the general masses. So, (for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction), the masses reject them and hate them. In politics, healthy relations should exist. There are a few among us who think they ONLY have the capability to rule or lead (they placed themselves, no one offered them that position), it is their illusion. General public is clever in selecting or electing who should lead them. They hate and slander the ulema (my every day personal experience). But Alhamdulillah there are good relations between muslims and the ulema. (Dost ka dushman dost naheen hota). My relative was saying "We read quran, you read hadeeth, quran is above hadeeth, so we are better" |

In country like Bangladesh, religious political party has no place. What is needed is for the politician and mass sympathetic to religious value to be in close contact with ulema (whose main concern is spiritual betterment). Aren't you basically suggesting we sit back and wait for politicians to seek advice from ulama? I'll be honest akh I don't find that a well thought out plan. America is hoping we sit back whilst they subjugate us more an spread their kufr. Surely ji will cooperate with Egypt etc if they take leadership and it will be a Step in the right direction? |

Bro isn't ji a linked with ikhwan? As I posted earlier, the attitude of JI will not change. "Hate ulema" is the fundamental slogan. |

Please understand the nature of politics. Just because one is a secularist does not make them evil. Just because one talks of shriah does not mean they care for shariah-slogan based politics is the most dissinjenious form of politics. My relatives are good people who care a lot for wellbeing of people and are awami supporter and activist. At the same time they are god fearing. They suffered for sticking to prinicples of honesty (at the hands of their won party and by others!! I would vote for them any day over the JI!! What the likes of Bangladesh need are sincere, selfless honest people who are god fearing!! Not an ism sold to public as Islam! The latter one is oxymoron. Quality of islamic leader calls for honesty, humility!! The two words can't be in their book- get ahead by any means at the expense of Islamic teaching! Once this JI leader (Quranist) said to my uncle why use hadith when you have Quran - usual quranist argument!! JI has no support. People don't vote for them!! Iki on the other hand have public support and are generally liked. You can't equate the situation of ezypt and Bangladesh together. |
