1. Many moons ago, I read a report in an Indian newspaper about the rate at which the Indian army is killing Muslim civilians in Kashmir when compared to the 'Militants'*, it was somewhere around I think 5:1 - I never could search for that report online, even though I advanced searched all the major engines, perhaps, they may have removed it? It was a small article though.

For those of you who came late to the party:

2. Kashmir, unlike Palestine doesn't attract attention of the World media because:

a) The U. S. is not involved directly ['coz they don't have anything to GIVE directly I suppose - cluster bombs for scared civilians]

b) India is one of USA's pets [Remember, Bush junior had a pet cat named India].

c) India's growing friendship with Israel since the last 2 decades, more so since the Congress came to power in 2004.

d) India projects itself as a 'Soft state' - a state that is victimized and all. To know how factually correct that is, you should ask Lt. Prasad Shrikant Purohit - a man of great knowledge [in his chosen field], stature and wisdom. Please do Google him.

well...everything because of our aamals...I swear by Allah if our aamals are good no power on earth cannot even remove a hair of ours...!

Anyways, usually the situation of kashmir is good but whenever there is any agitation, hundreds of our youths are relentlessly killed...!

Kashmirs are hot-headed ...they neither look forward nor backward...whenever anything against wishes of kashmiris happen here....people come to streets (usually young like teenagers, 20's ) and start stone pelting....the opponent maybe military or JK police or RR or BSF...whatever...kashmiris just pelt stone at them.....!

But Alas! stone pelters are usually those who are far away from islam...they wear jeans, follow west, etc...!
If right path will be shown to this young generation...indeed they will revolutionize the whole world with the light of hidayat and with the gardens of islam...!

Well the last but not the least word...Our elders say about kashmiris...!

"Jaan tou dete hai'n magar itaa-at nahi hai"

"Qurbani dete hai'n magar usoolay se nahi dete"

Only rukh(path) of our people is to be changed...thats it...make duwa...pray to Allah...that Allah may enlighten our hearts with HAQQ....!

Kashmiris are kashmirirs...!

I am discussing about the peaceful days before the eighties. The Kashmiris had a very good opportunity to present Islam to non-muslims tourists from rest of India (about 100 crores) and foreigners. But Kashmir was like any other tourist destination. Like Agra and Delhi, similar complaints.

I remember; the RSS and the then Jansangh (present BJP) used to arrange free trips to Kashmir to hundreds of hindu youth to sow the seeds of hatred towards Islam. Later on these youths did considerable damage to Muslims.

Consider this

"baatil kee misaal andheray ke tarah hai...aur andhera nahi phelta hai ...roshni pheltee hai....jab roshni nahi hote hai tou andhera khud hota hai"

similarly...efforts of christians, jews, BJP, hindus will do nothing if we (muslims) will make right efforts...but if we wont make any effort then automatically efforts of batil will become stronger and stronger and thus damage to muslims...!

Anyways Allah is with us whatever the baatil does!

well our survival in kashmir is also because of duas, and qurbanis of elders...may it be current elders of kashmir like Muhtaram Ameer Sb DB, Peer Shamsudin Sb DB or elders of delhi, mahrastra, etc or previous elders...like munshi ji ala data Rh.A who brought 1st jamat to kashmir in 1960's or 1950's....or may it be qurbani of aslaaf...Shah hamdan RH.A who came with jamaat of 700 sadaats (Awliya) to kashmir 700 yrs ago or qurbani of suhabah radhiyallahu anhum and QURBANI of our beloved prophet
