Assalamualikum,
I am in the process of creating an app called iDua Reward Chart It comes out from a conversation with a scholar who teaches kids and realised that those who remember the dua's are those who practices them, makes sense. So he would ask the parents to ensure that the children are regularly reading those dua's. I came across an Android app that I would replicate: http://youtu.be/HJFELXE-y5E A) Parent/Teacher has option to create profile for each child by just adding name and pic B) They select from the pre-list of dua's from our list of suggestions C) Reward their accomplishments with a single tap in the weekly chart. Each task goes up in number i.e. read dua for toilet several times a day. D) Can remove stars for various tasks. When stars have been earned, your child can pick from the default list of suggested rewards, or you can setup your own custom rewards especially tailored for each of your children, like "$2 Pocket Money" or "Staying up late". There's version on my wifes app for every day tasks but it will work awesome for Dua's. To build the first version I require $250, are you willing to contribute to this app? My last app received over 35,000 downloads. Everytime someone reads the Quran on that app everyone who contributed gets the reward , Alhamdullilah So why not donate $5, $10, $20, etc and reap the reward as parents use their mobile to tap and reward their children. Please use this paypal link to make a contribution, I will keep you posted as the money is raised. https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...=Y9L9PJPZQP76U |

Br Gabriel, Oh snap. Of course, I should add the list of surah's in there also; jazakAllah for that idea, you have just earned some incentive points for the hereafter for the intention and every time a child is encouraged to read to get points you get that reward also. Simple and beautiful is the reward scheme laid down by Allah ![]() |
