Un-scholarly speaking, looking at the outlook of what you stated, "make wudhu like shafii school and salat like maliki and hajj like hanafi etc...." One ends up making his own school which is nothing but the satisfaction of his nafs.

And Allah knows best.

wa rahmatullah,
Since the brother follows the maliki madhhab he may get other madhahib opinions as well :
As-salamu Žalaykum,

It is permissible to follow different Imams on different issues according to the Shafi'i school as per the words of Al-Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Haytami, rahmatuLlahi Žalayh. The question only arises when it comes to following different Imams in relation to the same action. But there is agreement that it is ok to follow Imam Shafi'i in Salah and Imam Malik in Fasting for example. But it is impermissible to seek out dispensations just for the sake of leniency, for that amounts to following ones nafs and making a game of the Deen.

waLlahu a'lam
wassalam

ok so for shafii madhhab it s ok we can mix if we don't mix in the same action.

but how can somebody know if he s enought knowledgable to mix and to know if his nafs doesn't play with deen?

do we have to have autorisation from a charia cheikh to mix?

Sh. Ramadan al-Buti said: "Madhhabism is that a person - who has not reached the level of Ijtihad - adheres to an Imam, whether it is one Imam or more."

so this sentence also confirm the fact that in shafii school ios permisible to mix madha hib

Excerpt from the book, Who are the Blind Followers?:

When people do not restrict themselves to one madh-hab, then gradually an environment of following the concessions of the Imams will come into existence. In Fiq-h, this is termed as "Tatabbu'ur Rukhas". The scholars have rendered severe warnings about this. Imam Baihaqi quotes Imam Awza'i Rahimahumallahu Ta'ala as saying: "The person who adopts all the rarities of the 'Ulama' leaves (the precincts of) Islam." Imam 'Ali Ibn Al-Ja'd Rahmatullahi 'alaih attributes the following statement to the great Sulaiman At-Taimi Rahmatullahi 'alaih: "If you practice upon the concessions of every 'Alim, then every evil will be gathered in you."

'Hafiz Ibn 'Abdul Barr Rahmatullahi 'alaih comments on this statement: "There is consensus on this. I am not aware of any opposing view on it." It is reported from the two great scholars of Hadith, Imam Yahya Al-Qattan and Imam Ahmad Ibn Hambal Rahimahumallahu Ta'ala that such a person is a fasiq (transgressor). May Allah protect us.

mixing is not good but taking rukhsah when necessary would be the order of the day at times.

think about the word madhab in a litteral sense for a moment not as a method. It is a route, a way a path.

now imagine you have four friends & each one of them has a different route between point a & point b.
if you decide to go with friend 1s directions to a certained point & then at a point you feel like you dont want to follow his directions for a while because he said turn right. & then you follow friend 2 at that point instead because at that left of the journey he said you can go left. you can only imagine where you would end up because friend 1 & 2 are possibly on two different roads at the same time. however the objective is the same because point b is the same. in the case of the madhahim. point b is the pleassure of Allah.
