Most times store staff don't know and even when they contact the supplier, they sometimes can't tell. Buying anything from footwear to bags etc is becoming extremely difficult, as the only way of superficially determining whether something is from pig leather or not is to look for the hair follicle pattern. Are there any Muslim leather experts out there in the UK that can just look and tell?
