Allah Is The Best Of Judges. May Allah Forgive Us And May We Carry Out Good Actions Daily
On This Night! By Abdullah Rasool Strange how on this night we seek forgiveness yet we are supposed to be doing so every night. Strange how on this night we read extra prayers yet every night we don't even read what is obligatory. Strange how on this night we become good Muslims yet we are supposed to be so throughout our lives. Strange how on this night we remember that Allah descends to the lowest heaven yet He does so every single night. Strange how on this night the Masjid is full yet it should be full every night. Strange how on this night we go to the lecture but never attend the shorter lectures every week. Strange how on this night we spread that seven types of people won't achieve Mercy of Allah yet it is the case every night. Strange how on this night we make so much duaa yet we are supposed to be doing so every night. Strange how on this night we visit graveyards and remember the dead yet we are supposed to be doing that throughout the year. Strange how on this night we ask Allah to free us from hell yet we are supposed to be asking that every night. Strange how on this night we spread that the books are renewed for the year yet we know that that happens on laylatul qadar. Strange how on this night we cling to the most strongly debated narration yet everyday we ignore the unanimously agreed ones! Strange how we have become seasonal Muslims, clinging onto innovated big nights yet every night is a BIG NIGHT. Strange how we become angry and furious when reminded to be true every single day and not just one day yet we are happy to forward fabrications without clarifying. Forgive me today and every single day. .... |
