What is the proof from the Sunnah that we should single out the 15th of Sha'baan for extra ibaadat? http://www.islamibayanaat.com/Englis...habeBaraat.pdf http://www.askimam.org/fatwa/fatwa.p...30660182640e29 http://datruth.wordpress.com/2007/08...i-taqi-usmani/ (links taken from this forum) |

. Some people spend this night in holding religious meetings and delivering long speeches. Such activities are also not advisable, because these acts can easily be performed in other nights. This night requires one to devote himself for the pure acts of worship only. the above quotes are from mufti taq usmani's piece on shaban, the points in bold echo my own thoughts with regards how the night should be spent. lailatul qadr and the 15th shaban are two nights in which we know we ae urged to immerse ourselves in ibadah, unfortunately in alot of masjids the imamas end up delivering long speeches and khutbas. i know they din't do it out of choice they see it as an ample opportuntity to address the whole communtiy fo muslims and chances like this are few and far between. however i would prefer if imamas would do a series of lectures in the build up to these nights and then on the night of shaban/lailatul qadr they leave the muslims to their own ibadah, with maybe some small gathering of zikr halfway through the night. |

What is the proof from the Sunnah that we should single out the 15th of Sha'baan for extra ibaadat? The thread is started for those who believe in the authenticity of this night.....more over for those who want to do extra or special ibaadat. Of course hadeeth and amaal of Sahaba are at the top of the list yet Amaal of different mashaikh are also appreciated.pls share if any one knows! |

no the tone is somewhat like that in Makka. they do however have a problem same saying hamd. they would say hamid. so you would here them say wa lillahi lhamid. In South africa we have tha most unique takbeer that very melodious. I did it over the loud speaker at Dar Mustafa & everyone was amaized.

found another easy nawafal.book is Nuzaha tul majalisby a shafi author; 12 rakah with surah Al Fatiha and Ikhlaas 10 times in each rakat.inshaAllah members having short or less time can do it;do niyah for the next year. virtues:all sins will be vanish and will get barakah in his life(age) Also remember salaat Tasbeeh a famous salah which takes hardly 20 to 30 minutes only. |
