Assalamu alaykum
The Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace) said, “If people knew the reward in praying Fajr and Isha in congregation, they would go to the mosque even if they had to crawl.” [Bukhari & Muslim] Cripples man crawls to Masjid for 65 years http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4KSD...ayer_embedded#! In a remote tiny village in Saudi Arabia, an old crippled man crawling to the nearby mosque has been the most familiar scene. Some of those who have watched that man have died as he is now nearly 76. Since he was a little boy, Abdullah Al Asiri has never missed his daily prayers and insists on performing it at the mosque despite his handicap. Asiri was born handicapped in a family of 10, including his parents, three brothers and four sisters. His brothers, sisters, sisters in law and his many nephews and nieces have been looking after him through his life. Asiri has crawled to and from the mosque in his southern village of Alaziza five times a day for nearly 65 years, defying the scorching desert summer heat and the pinching cold weather in winter. His nephew Abdul Aziz said he had shot a film of his uncle to “underscore his perseverance, determination and strength.” Crippled man crawls to mosque for 65 years - Emirates 24/7 May Allah bless him and accept all his efforts and prayers. The Prophet (Allah bless him & give him peace) said, “If people knew the reward in praying Fajr and Isha in congregation, they would go to the mosque even if they had to crawl.” [Bukhari & Muslim] |

indeed, but we do not know who will go to Jannah and who will not so we should not make assumptions It true that we do not know who will end up in Jannah and who will end up in hell, but its good to think well of people. And I honestly think this man has a high probability of getting into Jannah, but in the end its up to Allah of course. |

If someone dies and many Muslims praise the person and their good character...it is a sign that Allah is pleased with the person, but there is no certitude for us in this life.

Ya Allah such a good topic for all of the Muslimeen in this thread and somehow a dispute has emerged? We should all learn to be tolerant. If something does not fit in our views then we should just think and give our 70 excuses. Beware of being ignited by a small spark which will diminish instantly. Please from now on, let's pledge once again that we will exercise hearts of mercy and tolerance. I find it really amazing how some threads diverge into disputes, it must not be so. Let's keep to the topic and put all differences aside. JazakumAllahu khairan.
