As salaam alaikum wa rahmatullah,
Shaykh al-Albani (rahimahullah) fasted for 40 days in a similar manner. The Shaykh mentioned it in one of his recordings. His doctor told him that he had irregularities in his heart beat and other problems. He read a book on this 40 day diet and decided to follow it. After his diet, all of his problems went away. He said that he ate and drank nothing but water, not even tea or juice. He also said that one day during his diet he passed by a stand selling fried potatoes and egg plant, and that he struggled with preventing himself to eat from it I also remember him being surprised at the fact that he continued to "answer the call of nature" inspite of him eating nothing. |

![]() We discussed this at length some time back. Most doctors don't know anything about it. You need to read up yourself. Anyways, we have limited openings, please register soon OR don't complain if you don't get accepted! |
