This is a good book as well which needs a careful reading:
download it from here: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B1K...2JNOXRHQ0RuVGM SULTANIYYA By Shaykh Dr. Abdalqadir as-Sufi Sultaniyya is the definitive modern statement on leadership in Islam. Shaykh Abdalqadir surveys Islam under the chapter headings Deen, Dawla (polity), Waqf, Trade, the Sultan — personal rule — and Tasawwuf. This book is the only current statement on Islamic leadership outside of the false rhetoric of constitutional democracy and capitalism, beyond terrorism and tolerance. The book also includes a comprehensive and inspiring review of the system of Awqaf under the Osmanli Khalifate, which they based on the Sunna of our Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, as well as a summary of our own models of Islamic Trade as they can be applied in this age. |

Shaykh Abul Hasan is a very powerful writer. here's an attempt at the translation, not sure how accurate it is, please inform of any mistakes and corrections The easy way to bring religion to power There are two ways. One is to bring the people of religion and Iman to the seats of power, or to bring religion and Iman to the people in power. The fear in the first case is that the people in power may give preference to breaking the seats over leaving them, and this may worsen the matters rather than improve them. The second method definitely requires time, however it is sustainable, and perhaps there is no other solution besides this. It is also supported by the reformation movement of Hadhrat Mujaddid Alf Thani (Rahmatullahi Alaih) that the power holders are welcome to keep their seats of power, the religious people only want their reformation, not their seats. |
