Default Lets remind ourselves about the Hereafter

I have a big request for you. If i wait i might not be able to make this request, we never know when we will die. Please make dua for me after I Die. I don't think you will be able to know when i pass away one day. If I am not posting in SF for a lot of days that must be a sign. We all did a lot of Dua for Maulana Yunus patel when he passed away. Please do the same for me when i die. If i have offended any of you, i apologize. After I die i won't be able to make dua or do good deeds, only the people alive will be able to make dua for me. I not joking, please take this seriously. Ask Allah to forgive my Sins and protect me from the punishment of the grave and HellFire.

Edit: Lets use this thread to remind us of the Akhirah.

You have become an Elder (buzurg) Dr Sahab.
May Allah (SWT) call you back in the state of complete eeman at your appointed time.
May He(SWT) keep you alive on Sunnah.
Now say the same thing for me.
And if I stop posting for long then do the same for me.
Wassalam

This is a very useful thread, may be one of the best so far. Make this a sticky, so whenever we log on the first thing we remember is mawt and akhirat. Excellent reminder.

Mods pls take note, Jazakallah khair.

I will do the same for you brothers.

I think we should be in personal contact with atleast one other member of the forum. So we can know each others whereabouts. If we are sick or healthy, dead or alive.

bro. I have been thinking about this for a while. Its your thread on the punishment of the grave that made start this thread. A true Believer will have a smile when he/she dies. But i cannot imagine how i can be in that state, with all the sins i ve committed. Ya Allah, shower us with your Infinite Mercy. Ameen.

Edit: The worst part is, right now I am thinking about death because someone reminded me. But after few moments I forget. I forget it all and... we are really ungrateful.

a good reminder ...

We all hope and make dua that when we pass on the next world, those who we left behind will remember the good we did and said. They will speak good of us and make dua for us when our names are mentioned.

We should always think before we speak and in the case on the forum (type),continuously seek forgiveness and make dua for each other.

Since we've all become like one big family on SF, we all hope that our brothers/sisters here will be aware of our death and make dua for us .

May Allah forgive our sins and bless us in this dunya and the aakhirah aameen

Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 2:422,

Narrated by Anas(ra)
The Prophet said,

"When a human being is laid in his grave and his companions return and he even hears their foot steps,
two angels come to him and make him sit and ask him: 'What did you use to say about this man, Muhammad?'
He will say: 'I testify that he is Allah's slave and His Apostle.'
Then it will be said to him, 'Look at your place in the Hell-Fire. Allah has given you a place in Paradise instead of it.' "

The Prophet added, "The dead person will see both his places.
But a non-believer or a hypocrite will say to the angels, 'I do not know, but I used to say what the people used to say!'
It will be said to him, 'Neither did you know nor did you take the guidance (by reciting the Quran).' Then he will be hit with an iron hammer between his two ears, and he will cry and that cry will be heard by whatever approaches him except human beings and jinns."

Ya Allah! this thread is so touching. Let Allah SWT reward you immensely and accept us all and make our life and death pleasing to Him SWT and grant us aafiyah in both the worlds. Amin
Ya Allah! death is really scary the moment we think about it with the way we have prepared ourselves. Save us from Your punishment. Amin

One good idea to secure our hereafter even after we die is to leave behind such a good deed that will give us Sadaqah Jaariyyah. I know that not everyone can build a Mosque etc,. but if you can, then do so.

Sponsoring a Talib e Ilm (who's pursuing a Hafiz / Aalimiyatt course) is also a good idea.

Assalam alaykum,

There was a time when I was in very serious circumstances--more than once--at which time I reconciled myself with my death as best I knew how and put it in the hands of Allah (SWT). That has helped me to the degree that I keep death in mind. It even helps when writing a post to someone I disagree with--"what if these words are my last?"--and it encourages me to show restraint. We truly travel lighter than we realize on this journey and must be ready to leave this world on a moment's notice.

In the name of Allah, the most Merciful and most Compassionate--may He forgive your sins (He is the best of Forgivers) and may He grant you Mercy and may we meet each other in jannat.

Wassalam

MashaAllah, the best thread so far. JazakAllah khair for the reminder.

Every next second that is going to come, we will either live or die. That very second holds a probability of 50% chance of our death. Just imagine, 1 second holding 50%, thats too high of a probability.

Including myself first, we all should be spending every available minute preparing for our destination. And Ramadhan is an excellent time to start.

InshaAllah, I will see all my SF brothers and sisters in Jannah and we will talk about each other and our time in the world. InshaAllah. Ameen.

Include this pathetic helper man in your duas too.

The best idea to keep SF updated about our deaths is to write about it in our will's

All SF members should please forgive me for my putrid manners that I display here, especially if I hurt someone.I might come accross very harsh but I don't intend hurting anybody.I address the situation keeping it's seriousness in mind.

Also,I'm 99% certain that the bro who used to post under the name: Islaminfo has passed away many weeks back.

May Allah forgive him,Grant him Jannatul Firdaus without reckoning, the highest stages in Jannah and the company of Nabi in Jannah.

was salam

Ameen. I think we should recite some Suratul Ikhlas and give the sawab to this brother who used to post in the name 'islaminfo' and to all deceased Muslims.

Ya Allah make their graves the fountains of Paradise and protect them from the punishment and HellFire. Ameen.

Ameen.

We will all meet in Hawl Al Kawthar with our Rasoolullah giving us the first drink of Akhira. May Allah forgive us and give us the tawfeeq.
