With the help of petrodollar a lot of the scholastic work of minority view is translated in english (often with miss translation). The others don't share the same level (if any) financial support from the govrnment and can't flood the market so just surviving.
It is also foolish to translate these books for laymen. I remember few years ago, the likes of hidyah approch one scholar to translate some of the Ibn Taimiyahs book, he refused on the ground layperson do not have the tools to understand it as it requires additional explanation and discourse to decipher.
Then again people suffer from delusion of grandeur mixed with zeal is often the case!

In the recent times Al Hidyah, and Kitab Al Athar, Muwatta of Imam Muhammad, Compodium of Knowledge & wisdom by Turath publishing is published. http://www.turath.co.uk/front/
so ur against the translations of bahishti zawar, mukhtasar al quduri, nuurul idah etc?

Either way, i plan on studying them under ulema inshallah so jazak allahu khair for sharing your oppinions but id greatly appreciate some links to books u feel are reliable translations of classical fiqh books inshallah.

Ive found reliance of the traveller by nuuh ha mim keller to be quite good and also the translations of bahishti zawar and mukhtasar al quduri were quite nice, any maliki books and hanbali books and other hanafi and shaafi books translated?

Hevenly ornament is not a classical source. It was formulated in the south asian context
I think some of deobooks either be modified to suite the situation in the west or should not be sold. As people often end up getting the wrong end of the stick. The insensitive approach of translation is often to blame for.

Al fiqh Al islami is a better option

Al Hidyah ( classical one)

Malaki source are even more rare. Many of the revert malaki scholars do not like translating scholastic book for layperson. The likes of Alimah Ayesha Bewley, Imam Abadasmad clark are some notable translators
