From a personal observation, I noticed correlations between your take on the Qur'an and the Ruh/Nafs.
Feel free to expound upon this if you wish.

It's merely my personal observation and nothing to be written in stone, but I thought about the struggle you have to make with your Nafs in order to recognize guidance and follow it; by having the ability to differentiate between the good and bad inclinations within yourself.

A sense of being aware of the nature of things from the good of your Ruh and the bad of your Nafs.

Many cannot and do not differentiate between the two things.

Connect that with the amount of knowledge you have of the Qur'an and I believe you will be able to put things into perspective.

I wanted to write more but it's better for my Nafs to be an ear instead of a tongue round these parts. If you know what I mean.

Knowing that you're on the introverted side, I wish that you come to these conclusions after reading those books yourself.
