Truly, it is the 'Aarifeen that can teach us Who Allah ta'ala is! How can we ever become despondent of the Mercy of Allah!?

It is our responsibility to learn about Allah from those who know Him as Allah says in the Qur'an: ar-Rahmanu fas'al bihi khabeeraa "the Most Merciful: ask about Him from those who are Khabeer (aware)"

One of the Honourable Shaykh's sayings which I have heard a few times is this (translated):

"We know how to recite du'as, but we don't know how to beg in Du'a"
