Assalamu Alaikum w.b,
Brothers like most of you, i also try to give daily a very small amount to poor (like beggars) from my pocket money. Ofcourse to get Allaah's reward and bring his mercy. So i was wondering if i could save the small amount i give in Galla(box in which children save money), so that when it becomes more, i can help some person in genuine need like someone who needs school fees or in some masjid construction or some other things. In this will i be rewarded for in daily basis, or when i pay the collected amount to some one?? |

Assalamu Alaikum w.b, ![]() You will be rewarded for making intention Then rewarded for executing the good act. So Insha'Alllah win win scenario. ![]() |

And brother will i be rewarded like when i give it to someone, and get reward from Allaah, not just reward for intention, like a real reward of giving, like when i put it in box, will it be same as giving in Allaah cause. Brother i can't explain it, more?? can u not understand my concern? ![]() |

So brother is it a better act than giving to beggars daily??? ![]() There are two questions here:
You will Insha’Allah get rewarded for either method when done for the sake of Allah (SWT). Then you have to see how your charity is most effectively used and for that you need to think about individual circumstances and in my view collecting in a moneybox and giving a larger amount of money has the following advantages:
So its not a question of reward (either way) but what is effective in your opinion? ![]() |

So brother is it a better act than giving to beggars daily??? If you have been giving charity daily for some time with istiqamah, my humble suggestion is that you continue with the daily charity as ALLAH swt likes very much an 'amal (even how small it may be) done with istiqamah. I would also suggest that if possible, you try to also continue with your good intention of saving some money in a box ... so that you get double reward... 8^) May ALLAH make easy for you... wallaahu a'lam. |
