so now muslims have started fighting with the Buddhists too ?

I thought Buddhists were cool people.

May Allah swt restore peace between the 2 groups.

I think there have been a lot of buddhist violence against muslims in the past. There was a thread mentioning some incidents in Srilanka.

it's rohingya ethnic , they have been presecuted since world war 2, meaning many tension between them and the Buddhist
they are stateless since the current myanmar govt didn't recognize them as citizen...
current riot were because of 10 innocent muslims killed by the Buddhist mobs seeking a retribution after a rape case with muslims as the suspects

if only those people use LAW instead of vengeance than this tragedy wouldn't happen.......

this is a western myth. Look at myanmar right now, do they look like the peace loving pacifists we're told they are?

This is outright aggression and oppression against the muslims of myanmar

That's what I had thought since when reading about this tragic news the first time, when mention was made of "a group of foreigner Muslims"..

It's extremely sad that women and children on two boats from the affected were ordered to return back to where they came from by the Bangladesh Coastal guards. They could have just sheltered them until things calm down.

Allahu'alam.

Very shameful and sad.

May Allah destroy nationalism and the concept of "nation-State", amin.
