Asslamo Allaikum,

Maulana Saleem Dhorat (Leicester) & Maulana Bahauddin Naqshbandi (Birmingham) are both Khaleefas of Maulana Naeemullah (Lahore) who is the Khaleefa of Maulana Ghulam Habeeb (RA) in the Naqshbandi-Mujaddidi Silsila.

Maulana Bahauddin Naqshbandi spend a considerable time in his youth with Hazrat in Africa & then in UK.

Maulana Salman (Coventry) who was Maulana Ghulam Habeeb (RA)'s Khaleefa recently passed away...I think there may be some of Hazrat's Khaleefas in Bolton/Blackburn.

Maulana Abdur-Raheem (DB) son of Maulana Ghulam Habeeb (RA) gave Khailafa to another Maulana in Bolton/Blackburn in the Silsila during his last visit to UK (last year) and I think his name is Maulana Abid.

You can details from:

http://www.idauk.org/

I highly recommend that you go SEE Maulana Saleem Dhorat (Leicester) OR Maulana Bahauddin Naqshbandi (Birmingham) in person and discuss your questions.

P.S: They both have 2 DISTINCT personalities & are different to Shaykh Riyadhul-Haq (who is junior to both of them)...&see who suits you better.
Br. Muadh, can you please find out which Maulana received khilaafat from Hadhrat Ml. Abdur Raheem (db), and where is this Maulana located? How many khulafa does Maulana Abdur Raheem have? Jazkallah. Wassalaam

Yes, Hafiz Mumtaz is the khalifa of Hadhrat Ml. Naeemullah Farooqi (Db). For further info regarding him visit, www.khanqah-e-naqshband.org, www.islahenafs.com
I can't find any information on Hafiz Mumtaz on those web sites. Do you have any more details on him, such as which masjid he leads/teaches at, and if he speaks English.

Jazakhallahu khair.

Wassalaam,

Shaykh Saleem, to my knowledge has 3 khulafa. 1) Is a very very old Alim in Leceister by the name of Hadhrat Ml. Ahmed Ali (Very famous for his hadith sanad).

2) Hafiz sahab in Leceister ( Yusuf I think his name is) he was bayat to Hadhrat ML. Yusuf Ludhiyaanwi (rah) after his shaadat he gave bayah to Sh. Saleem.

3) A maulana who is a graduate from his madersa, and now has a academy in Bolton. Sorry don't know his name.

Jazakhallah brother, you've been really helpful.

I was wondering, when one does not live in close proximity to his Shaykh will this have a negative impact on the students progress? I understand that keeping the company and being of service to your Shaykh is very important in Tasawwuf.

Also, how often do typical students correspond with the Shaykh? Since a student will always want to consult their Shaykh before making decisions does this create a heavy load/responsibility for the Shaykh? Am I wrong to think that a Shaykh can help guide you to living according to the Sunnah in all ways of life, not just relating to ibadah and zikr, etc.?

Inshallah, I will try to spend some time with students of Shaykh Saleem and see what advice/feedback they can give.

Wassalaam,
Zahid

It is my pleasure to assist you as much as I can. Sure I can give you my email but, I do not how to give it out on the form.

I have a colleague in Leicester by the name of Maulana Sulieman Dadhiwala. His grandfather is Shaykh Saleem's khalifa(He knows Maulana Saleem Dhorat sahab really well). If you would like he could assist you get in contact with Maulana Saleem sahab. Please do not hesitate to ask questions regarding Bay'ah.

Asslamo Allaikum,

Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Mashaykh in UK & US do take Baya'h from Sisters so they do correspond and speak to Sisters about their progress.

Best to get in touch with the Mashaykh directly.
