uthman ibn affan had many children, how do i find the histories or information about them? i tried googling stuff, but it doesnt come up.

im sure there are books or works out there that give history/information

im particularly want to know about the son of the 3rd caliph, called Umar whose mothers name is Umm'Amr bint Jandab. (one of the wifes of uthman ibn affan)

was umar a sahabi, or a tabi'in. anyone know where i can read about him.

I have looked in the biography of Hadhrat Uthman by Dr Ali As-Sallabi and in there his name (Umar) is mentioned and his mother's name. However, there are no further details.

I think that the biographical information you require will be in the Arabic books of history. Ask a scholar or somebody who can read Arabic and has the requisite books to find more information.
