Default Pork found in halal kababs in the UK
Trading standards officers test lamb kebabs in 20 restaurants... and found that NONE contained just lamb

All kebabs contained a mixture of pork, beef or poultry
Only three lamb curries tested had just lamb
Four curries contained none at all
Muslims may be unwittingly eating pork
One kebab contained almost 20 times the safe levels of food colouring

I think this is important. Why doesnt some enterprising Muslim start of a organic poultry farm? I know the chickens might be more expensive but the health benefits of eating free range halal chickens would be very good. And the prices may drop if some competition ensues, I cannot beleive how uninformed and unconcerned most Muslims are with their food. Considering we own so many takeaways and resturants we could introduce good healthy nutricious food which would make us healthy.

Thats really shocking and shameful.

I also agree that someone inshallah should start what you said ^^^.

I for one do not mind spending more for quality food/meat.

Its really sad, we just can't trust halal badges anymore.
Its better we buy the meat and make it at home.
