Default First Indian king Who Embrared Islam
Was reading d weekly article "MAIN NE ISLAM KYUM QABOOL KIYA(why did i embraced Islam)" in urdu news paper "THE MUNSIF DAILY". Relating to it was d short story of splitting of acceptance of Islam by Indian king by seeing d Moon split on two half's. Article goes like "It is Famous among d ppl of Malabar region of South India dat the South Indian King 'Raja Chakrawati Faris' had viewed dat moon had split on two half's and thought something stranged had happened on earth and sent his men to Investigate. They came wit a News dat it is a MIRACLE by Nabi (sallallahu3alyhi wasallam) from Mecca. Wit dis news king decided to met wit Messenger s.a.w and deputised his son and Embrared by Islam on d hands of Nabi s.a.w . While returning home he died on Post Zafar, Yeman(present Oman). Due to dis very reason d ppl of Malabar also embraced by Islam. .. Further d article says, All these details can b found in a manuscript kept at the India Office Library, London"
