Hazrat peer fazal wali shaheed raheemullah of Bannu was one of the greatest sufi mashaikh and most famous from amongst the pakhtun regions. Whenever I used to meet people from bannu and ask about him they would know him and praise him and his household. He was a khalifah of the great shaykh hazrat pir zulfiqar ahmed db. His first shaykh was from India in Rampur. This year at the yearly jhang ijtimah hazrat pir fazal wali shaheed raheemullah gave the Saturday morning program. One of my close friends was a very good friend of his who hazrat pir fazal wali raheemullah would call when he was leaving for umrah and at times even call from infront of the kaaba and ask what duas he wanted. He told me that hazrat pir fazal wali shaheed raheemullah was amongst the mustajab ud dawat (one's whose prayers are accepted inshallah). I called him today and he was still shocked by the news but he was happy that it was a good death. Every muslim wants to die as a shaheed.
Hazrat pir fazal wali rh would go to sirhind sharif each year as well as hajj and umrah regularly. I once asked mufti kamaludeen db about him and he mentioned that hazat pir fazal wali rh was from the progeny of hazrat mujadid alf thani rh. Inshallah I shall find out more details from my friend and inshallah let you know more about this great man inshallah. May ALLAH grant him janatul firdaws ameen and spread his fuyoozat to the 4 corners of the world ameen. I request everybody who sees this to read 3 times surah ikhlas (Qulhuwalahuahad) and send the reward to the deceased. |

My friend first met Pir saab at the house of his own shaykh rh.He was introduced as as being " Mustajab ud dawat" (i.e whose duas were accepted) .With the permission of my friend's shaykh my friend requested him for tawajuh and hazrat pir fazal wali rh readily obliged and took him to a side room. He gave him tawajuh (spiritual attention) for almost half an hour. Later he became more friendly and informal with my friend and after that he made it a routine to call him off and on,and always visit him when he was in his city.
One interesting thing: He was a frequent visitor to Saudi Arabia for hajj and umrah. Sometime at odd hours he would call my friend saying " I am sitting in front of the Kaaba praying for you" or " I am in masjid nabawi sallahualhiwasalam praying for you. Shall I present your Salam?" One day my friend called him and he laughed saying, " your kashf is strong...I am in Karachi airport lounge, departing for Umra" Like haramain,he was also a frequent visitor to the mazar mubarak of Hazrat majaddid alf thani ra. His original SHAIKH was also from Rampur,he would take Asbaq from him on his yearly visits.Sometimes his shaikh would laughingly tell him,...' your taking Asbaq (lessons) from me is just a formality, your faiz comes directly from Hazrat mujaddid alf thani ra'. He later got bayat with SHAIKH Zulfiqar, and is his khalifa. What to say my friend loved him and he loved my friend.....and will miss him for a long time to come.... May Allah swt cover him with his Rahma and give him janatul firdaws and spread his fuzoozay and barakat to the 4 corners of the world ameen. |
