Life imitates games in some way. We do face arguments against Islam and Muslims. Some are true but most of them are mere falsehoods. A forewarned person is forearmed. Let us devise answers to ever changing objections and arguments against Islam and Muslims. We shall take specific points, mainly using short videos for that is one very powerful medium that has been turned on Islam. Of course some of us have made wonderful use of that medium but the battle is in a very interesting stage. Here is our first video. The title says Richard Dawkins Tears Muslim Politician. If you see the clip there is indeed a rant by him but tearing or scratching are absent from the reality as well as imagination. May be the poster thought that people will read the title and assume it to be true - perfidy is noy uncommon to the detractors of Islam and Muslims. But yours truly got to take up cudgels with Dawkins here. He asserts that Partition of India was based on religion and was horrific. True on both counts. And it still misses the truth completely. Dawkins is still British and he should know the truth. His countrymen ruled India before the partition and the idiotic minister from BD should have known it. Through out their rule British did all they could do to create hatred between the followers of two main religions in India. That they were successful is certainly a negative point on our own wisdom and capabilities but the fact remains that these are the British who are responsible for the hatred that lead to the events that aggravate Dawkins. Furthermore we have not done anything to hold the British responsible for their actions. Yours truly does not know how the British can be brought to book, even if post facto, but we certainly are paying price for not taking into cognition the fact that the British have left very bad scars of their craftiness. The US has been using the same tactics. Wherever they have gone in to Muslim lands there are internecine bombings. They do find us amenable to use the same tactics on us again and again. |

British Pakistanis should lobby David Cameron to acknowledge the role played by the British in creating the mass deaths in Kashmir and elsewhere. The British government today should be forced to broker a peace deal between Pakistan and India and to settle the issue of Kashmir. Since Britain and India are champions of democracy they should organize a referendum in Kashmir for them to choose who they want to be governed by. Note: The British government recently helped bomb and attack Libya because they wanted to help ordinary Libyans...they can hold a referendum to help solve the problems that previous British governments have created in Kashmir.
Dawkins should stick to biology or zoology I have no idea why he gets involved in subjects that he has very little knowledge of, like religion, or politics. |

Glad that you breached the point.
So what is Prophet (PBUH)'s Uswa here? Prayers till the feet were swollen. And physical assertion to such an extent that there was a worldly government within ten years. 23-13=10. I am only talking about intellectual assertion to take the likes of Richard Dawkins to laundry. And it has already taken place to some extent. Only the floor remains to be cleaned. Please do not get convinced by the argument 3 days a month, 40 days a year and 3 times 40 days in life time will solve all the problems. Latter will solve lots of problems and I am fond of this. And I am also fond of its continuation. I hope it takes at least one headline out of the way. But there are other corners that we got to cover. Fortunately we can talk about some of them. Like tying the camel. I am in favour of tying the camel. This is the Sunnah that is most neglected. So Dr Sahab tie the camel and send the reward of forty martyrs to this sinner! That is what you shall get for reviving a forgotten Sunnah. And let me tell you that the reward might supersede those of forty martyrs because the ignored Sunnah is so mighty. The reward might be equivalent to 3 martyrs a month, 40 a year and three times forty in a life time. And I do assert again that there should be enough exertion on the Prayer front - such that you get swelling of feet. Both are possible. |

I am only talking about intellectual assertion to take the likes of Richard Dawkins to laundry. Fair enough. Hope its annihilation kinda stuff rather than laundry, coz Dawkins like things are najis, cannot be purified and will contaminate us if not annihilated. But if not able to do that its better to quarantine.
Requesting duas. |

In cricket a net is used for the practice session. She has no mention able political background before the last election . No experience in foreign affairs or public office. You might ask why ??? Because the the prime minister is paranoid about the people around her and do not trust many of her former cabinet heads and established party senior members. She is one of many personalities that came to Bangladesh politics out of nowhere purely on the whim of the party leader sheikh hasina . She is seen by most as not deserving of her post , to put it mildly. This is one of the by products of the last military rule of Bangladesh three and half years back. This is what happens in third world countries where hypocritical practices exist in all disguises sometimes in the name of democracy other times in autocracy . She was gullible enough to be in a program with Dawkins incoherent as she was I doubt she even knew who he was and what his known for . |

On the positive side she managed to say that it was not the partition of India but of Punjab and Bengal.
I do not think that the host (Zainab Badawi? Is she a Muslim?) or Dawkins would get the purport that the British divided Muslims into three parts! And you are right people should know before hand into whom they are bumping. Another good thing is that BD got some slot - you only here inconvenient things about BD. Also ZB did acknowledge something about women's role in BD (and P) politics. Finally how come a Bhutto becomes a Booto? |

On the positive side she managed to say that it was not the partition of India but of Punjab and Bengal. Just because there are women in supposedly influential roles ( politics is not that simple ) don't make women's issues better all of a sudden. Same as just because you have an african american president in USA don't make race relations and problems of Minority community and reality on the ground go away. ' A barometer of how advanced a nation is ' said by the interviewer , really? just because she comes from a Muslim country ? And she negates the possibility these social ills exist in Non muslim population by suggestion. And you hear the minister going on about things she read on her leisure time , on islam , budhism and Hinduism and it had nothing to do with the question ( Sarah Palin moment there ) . As I said before most people in BD think she should move on to other things that she is better at . another good thing is that BD got some slot - you only here inconvenient things about BD. The way these things usually happen is as follows and I am talking from personal experience and from what I have heard . I am sure this is the case in other countries as well especially in India and Pakistan. The honorable minister wants to go on a trip of official dealings , she includes some of her family members and associates in the 20 odd team . She makes sure she has enough time and opportunity to do some 'site seeing ' and shopping as well on her government paid tax payer visit. She gets diplomatic status and privileges that goes with it . She asks one of her sidekicks to arrange an interview so she gets some exposure 'back home' . She ends up putting her foot in her mouth. The whole thing was poorly managed by all concerned , the way incoherent and unprepared she was says that is exactly what happened . You get the same hints from 'ummm I don't think so' .... ' Not as much as anywhere else ' .... 'You only hear inconvenient things about BD' because the world media conveniently 'type casts' certain countries for certain roles . That don't mean they do not deserve it but what I find frustrating is politicians of the subcontinent are more concerned about their media image at cheese and wine parties in Washington then what their own people think about it. I do not think that the host (Zainab Badawi? Is she a Muslim?) or Dawkins would get the purport that the British divided Muslims into three parts! Yeah , if the match was right someone would have put Dawkins in his place . The strange creature named religious nationalism was given birth by the British and we are still paying the price for it. |
