I think it is a good idea to start saving as much money as one can manage easily for Ramadhan (this reminder should have been here a couple of months back). This way you can follow the sunnat of spending generously on the poor and needy in the month of ramadhan. This is going to be especially beneficial for fixed income households and individuals.

May Allah accept our good deeds and forgive our bad ones.

brother nuke, it has been a long time,hope to see you soon...anyways I do not mean that if someone is giving an amount each month he should hold that back and spend it in ramadhan, (although that can be done too depending on what kind of charity you are doing), but rather start saving a bit more so that you can throw a huge "party" in ramadhan...
