Salaam
It's astonishing to see some people still stick up for Asad and his lackeys in Iran (especially those turbaned deviants). http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middle...111118780.html http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-18224559 And in other news, NATO drone strike kills a family in Afghanistan, including 6 children: http://www.aljazeera.com/news/asia/2...911748807.html This is for myself and I am speaking to my nafs - how can we keep on enjoying our food and sleep while this keeps going on? Allah will surely hold us accountable for living a life of luxury and comfort while our brethren fall in the onslaught of the kuffaar. If we can't help them, the least we can do is have that concern, sadness and anguish in our hearts. If we don't have that, then we are little more than beasts, not worthy of the title "true muslim". Concern for the Ummah So “Allâh - the Most Perfect, Most High - has made the Believers a mercy and helpers towards each other - which is why the Messenger of Allâh sallallâhu ’alayhi wa sallam said: “The example of the Believers in their mutual love and mercy is like the example of a body. If one part feels pain, then all of it is affected by sickness and fever.” [7] ” [8] “Indeed, if a person does not have concern for the affairs of the Muslims then this, in reality, is a deficiency in ones Islâm.” [9] Since how is it possible for the one in whose heart îmân has taken root, and whose allegiance is to and for the Muslims, not to feel anguish and pain for them and their present state of affairs - their trials, tribulations and tortures. However, this does not mean preoccupation with western politics and drowning oneself in the abyss of its lies, deceptions and disbelief: “Rather, what is obligatory, is to pursue the politics of the Sharî’ah - which is to protect and take care of the affairs of the Ummah.” [10] Source: http://www.sunnahonline.com/ilm/ibaanah/vol1_f.htm InshaAllah the victory from Allah is near.
