Doctor Tanveer Ahmed Khan Sahib will be delivering a bayaan at masjid i umar (queens road mosque in walthamstow) today after maghrib. sorry for the short notice. if anyone missed his bayaan in leytonstone or upton inshallah today is a good opportunity.

He is elite khalifah of Hazrat Jalalabadi Moulana Masihullah Khan Sherwani sahib (ra) and is my grandfather shaikh as he is the shaikh of my shaikh Hazrat Mufti Nawalur Rahman sahib db. Just to see him is an ibadat of its own. One of the rare old school buzrughs around. Very beautiful person masha'Allah tall and beautiful eyes, very beautiful way of practicing shariath sunnah. I got to spend some time with him when he had visited here back in the day. I never got the guts to talk to him until recently but only over the phone. If you can go to his dars you should not miss at all, even if its simply to go say salaam and do musafah and request get his duas.

His dars is mostly incidents from his life and life of pious elders, its not so academic type superficially though the lessons are deep in Quran Sunnah, its pure tasawwuf nature on the method of his illustrious teacher Hazrat Jalalabadi ra. He often discusses takwini issues and might even discuss darbari issues of which he is well aware of. If you dont understand what he is saying just remain seated, to even sit in the company of such an individual is good enough. You should not miss his dars or at the least to see him say salaam and request for his duas.

Not that we are aware of, Hadhrat's kitaab on the life of maseehul Ummat is a beautiful narration of Sheikh and glimses of Mureed relationship. Tazkirah Maseehul Ummat r.a. It's in English
