Yes Shaykh Haitham Al-Haddad (HA) is a qualified Hanbali Scholar and I do listen to and read his Fatwaa and articles personally and he is a good person and may Allah (SWT) preserve him.

I agree with CH, probably one of the very few well known scholars within London these days who are sincere and don't shy away from speaking the haqq..may Allah preserve him..Aameen

I hate asking questions like this as a layman (May Allah forgive me) but what is his Aqeedah? Is he Ahle Sunnah? Deobandi? salafi/wahabi etc.
I hate the name tagging but guess if i don't ask I won't know.

afaik he follows the hanbali madhab so is probably athari in aqeedah

he seems to have good relations with deobandi scholars in the UK and also abroad like Mufti Taqi
