Default Why do people reject Islam?
If everyone was muslim, wouldn't the world be a much better place?

Justice would be served.
Law and order would exist.
Everyone would be kind and generous to each other.
We would all fast in Ramadan together, go to Hajj Pilgrimage together and look after one another.
Prayer would occur 5 times a day everywhere in the world.
We would only worship God and no idols and not multiple gods.

Why do people not see the beauty of Islam?

Islam is not a religion. It is a way of life, no?

Why don't everybody come to Islam? Why are there people out there claiming it is a false religion when they have never read the Quran to see what it actually says and stop blindly following the media?

As muslims, don't we want the whole of mankind to come to heaven with us and follow the true path to God?

Jazak Allah Khair

You can say this for many ideologies. Of course if every human thought exactly like every other human, there would be no conflict and it would be very peaceful! The problem is all humans don't think alike becuase they are inherently different.

Everyone would be kind and generous to each other. Is everyone kind and generous in Muslim majority countries? Even shortly after the death of Prophet Muhammad, the Muslims were fighting wars with each other. It's human nature to think you're right and everyone else is wrong.

Why do people not see the beauty of Islam? Why don't everybody come to Islam? Many people are turned off by Islamic laws they perceive as backwards, difficult and unfair on certain minorities. For example, being gay is not allowed in Islam, so naturally a homosexual wouldn't see the beauty that you may see. For the science/logic minded folks, there's no concrete proof of Islam's claims. I'm not going to go more in depth about this here.

Islam is not a religion. It is a way of life, no? I agree!

when they have never read the Quran Some of the people rejecting these claims have read the Quran.

I pondered this myself, once you accept Islam and see the truth, it is very difficult to understand why others would not do the same.

I am not sure if it is the work of the Shaytan or whether it is just peopleŽs ignorance, but the truth is that there are about 5 billion people out there, who are not Muslims.

Some have probably never heard of Islam, like the indigenous people etc, but these form a very small minority. A lot of people in the West only hear about Islam in bad context, so it is difficult for them to accept Islam when all they hear is that Islam is bad, opresses women etc. More importantly, even if they do not believe that Islam is bad, most of western society puts pressure on them to look at Islam as something that is backwards or medieval. This starts even from small kids.

If only was the publicity on Islam balanced, daŽawa would be much more effective.

Once again also, I have to mention that us - Muslims - are not always doing the best to bring others to Islam, I retain that being a good Muslim is the best daŽawa tool.
