![]() There are people in my social circle (both family members and friends) who for some time have been frequenting the company of ulama'-reviling modernists and outspoken hadith-rejectors, at times even inviting them to their homes for iftar and other religious and social gatherings. Their justification is that these people are "good at heart", though admittedly misled. "Hate the sin, not the sinner" seems to be the attitude across the board. It is not essential to avoid interacting with them even if they are apostates, they say, since we live in a society where the shari'a has no say. Please help me refute this indifference. Is there literature available online that deals with the subject matter? |
