And why is that?
I've listened to a couple of his talks and he is far from moderate. He also represents hizbut tahrir, a very prominent islamic movements with roots in Palestine.
I do not know the rest of the speakers mentioned.

He is not a member of HuT (he left them) and speaks out against them as well as any Islamic political movements. He's a member of the infamous Quilliam Foundation.

Neither he nor Ed Hussain count as ulama but they are well known.
