Default Ameer Mufti Husain sahib (db) - SF Members Vote!
Assalaamu alaykum SF members,

I have read some of the posts that Mufti Husain sahib (db) has made here on SF and they are very educational, beneficial, and to a great degree, inspirational. Reading posts of this research scholar motivate you and inspire you to seek knowledge of deen, at least thats how I feel when I read his works. Mufti Husain sahib (db) is a gem masha'Allah and we are fortunate that Allah swt has put this person right in our lap here on SF. I dont know about you but I want to read and hear more of what this shaikh has to say. I am sure that he has a very hectic busy schedule but I am going to request publically here that Ameer Mufti Husain sahib (db) include a post on SF into his tasks at least once a week or even once a month, on any topic of his choice, any islahi issue, social issue, or just anything on his mind, maybe a fatwa he gave in Darul Ifta and then on SF gives us some insights into the religious ruling, one line statements - I would be happy to read anything from this shaikh. So I am asking SF members would you be interested in this or not? How many people want Mufti Husain sahib doing something like this on SF? Would you read it? If you are interested and have passion to read Islamic literature of our scholars, vote now! Maybe if we show our interest then Mufti sahab will gift us with his discourse insha'Allah.

I second the idea... Mufti Husain Saheb is one of the hidden gems we have here and it is quite unfortunate that we do not hear too much from him lately. Sometimes I would just come to SF and dig into the very old threads where Mufti Husain has posted just to read what he has had to say, specially those ones where he discusses about hadith. Allah has blessed him with great intelligence and it is unfortunate that people like me doesnt have the chance to be in direct contact with him on a regular basis. We only rely on SF for that :-(

Once a week or even once a month, Mufti Husain sahib (db) should write something for the whole SF, either blog or a thread in main section - just freewriting his thoughts alone I think would suffice. Imagine if we are getting regular doses like this, it would be wonderful.

Yes, Definitely Yes!

Infact SF needs some more scholars like Mufti Husain and Maulana Abu Hajira.

@Zahed : may be the one that voted no answered to the title only (he "doesn't want" just not to disturb the mufti, whereas the poll option says "don't want to benefit", which is different.

I'm sure he's already busy, so I don't know if it's right to put him in a position where he has to decline our request.

Salam u alaikum,

I think Mufti Saheb should consider this seriously and his valuable nasihas and articles atleast once a week would be beneficial for the sunniforum readers. I mean there are enough islamic articles out there, but mufti Saheb through his exposure here with us and generally knowing the conditions we all are facing these days spiritually and socially, he can address those and sort of guide us what are the best course of actions to be taken in various aspects. Just my humble suggestions, but anything will inshAllah benefit.

The forum is loosing its scholars day by day n lay men fatwas are flying all over the forum..It would be very beneficial if the respected mufti's become a little active over here..

Respected mods,

Is anything going on with this request? I think the poll and comments speak for the SF community. Will the shura request Mufti Husain sahib and Moulana Abu Hajira to take some time out and give us some of their discourse? It would be beneficial to all. Jazakallah!

If he declines due to being busy its ok no problem we can respect that, but at least now he is aware that we really want to get his scholarly discourse! I am thinking that he will do something insha'Allah.

Assalamu Alaikum, I am sure they can take out some time and post an Article every 2 weeks and educate us about daily life issues in very simple terms so that we can correct ourselves. I am sure both of them will seriously look into it inshaAllah.

May Allah bless them and put Barakah in their time, ameen.

Good suggestion by brother FususAlHikmah (for some strange reason I have this feeling that you are a Maulana too???) if yes you could check with the Shura and help out too.

Any updates on this request? Please let us know in either case; if it is accepted that we celebrate with "Alhamdulillah" Allah taa'la heard our prayer and answered the desire in our heart or if it is not accepted then we celebrate with "Alhamdulillah" we tried our best but the order of Allah swt was dominant.
