Thanks for this brother. The imam at our Masjid was just asking about programs so his children wouldn't run into anything showing pornography. I didn't know of any, but this is excellent. Oddly enough, you don't even have to look for it to find it. No joke, my wife was looking on a website for vegetarian recipes. She clicked on a few links and saw recipes, then she clicked on one and I saw her kind of jump and close out the screen. One of those links ended up leading to a porn site...on a vegetarian recipe website!! So again, thanks for this. May Allah reward you.

A hacker group hacked Supreme Court site & posted a message to issue a notice @PTA to block adult sites. (September 2011)
Supreme Court issued notice against adult sites. (November 2011)
PTA blocked sites. (December 2011)

Although its too late, but atleast PTA inally took action , whatever the reason was behind. we should appreciate it.
Ofcourse such stuff destroyed our generation particulary existance of internet cafes in every streets.

even if PTA has done something about adult sites, i recommend these kind of software. because i can even now see some adult site( not actually now because i have install software). but if anyone is dreaming that all adult site are blocked by PTA then OK for him.

Just a word of warning to those who haven't visited that youtube link:

1) There is music in the video, no talking, so you can mute the video

2) Ironically, there are "explicit" videos on the right hand side video list due to the matching of the term p**n, so don't try and look for other videos related to that video using the right hand side recommended list - make the youtube video full screen if you have to.

Yes PTA is working on adult sites, but there are esay solutions available to overide the PTA blockage, like hotspot shield

however I'm testing some software like:
antiporn.16.0.6.1
Net Nanny 6.31
K9 (its not very good)

Use bitorrent to dowload their pirated versions.

I tried antiporn.16.0.6.1, it very intellegent software, I can't overide its blockage without password. Hotspot shield, proxy server etc, all have failed to overide its blockage, you can fearlessly use internet. Even I can't use youtube, google, wikis inappropriately. B/c it blocks the keyword.

But it has some disadvantage, I can't see "cats" - the animal- b/c it consider it as inappropriate word
