Default Sins of New Muslims concerning Huquq al-Ibad

Simple Question: When someone enters the folds of Islam are his sins concerning Huquq al-Ibad washed away as well? Or does he still have to seek forgivence of the harmed persons?

From what I understand, the conditions of tawba are the rectification of whatever rights that were violated. And conversion as an act of tawba, does not erase this. But if there is a specific thing you are asking about, you should consult a local scholar about your situation (or whoever you are asking on behalf of). Wa-Llahu `alim wa musta`am.
