Salam,
This question is on behalf of my wife. She has been taught since a young age not to do do salah and read the quran whilst in menstruation. Various Hadith have discussed this issue but so far we have not found any certain answer as the Hadith are varying in opinion. Most importantly its not mentioned anywhere in the Quran. All our do's and dont's are mentioned in the Quran but this is not mentioned so how can it be not allowed to worship in this state. Allah does not say in Quran that woman should not offer salah and or fast during Ramadan. So basically does anyone have any further info on this issue and whats the Hanafi opinion on it. |

Salam, You can find scholarly answer in every fatwa website as it is very basic question. I think you are not a scholar so don't be confused if you don't know any details of evidences directly from Quran and ahadeeth, just adopt a madhab and stictly follow it, it will make your life easy to practice shariah. |

Can you please refer me to where it states about this impurity in Quran as I can't find it.
It's too simple to make these comments and come to conclusions without the evidence. Please refer me the section in the Quran. Also what is the Hanafi opinion which I follow anyway but can't find the answer ? |

Can you please refer me to where it states about this impurity in Quran as I can't find it. They ask thee concerning women´s courses. Say: They are a hurt and a pollution: So keep away from women in their courses, and do not approach them until they are clean. But when they have purified themselves, ye may approach them in any manner, time, or place ordained for you by Allah. For Allah loves those who turn to Him constantly and He loves those who keep themselves pure and clean. (Al-Baqrah-222) Also what is the Hanafi opinion which I follow anyway but can't find the answer ? http://www.daruliftaa.com/question?t...nID=q-21514089 |
