Default Riba and Olive oil- Fiqh question
Salam,
We just did the baab of Riba in Mukhtasar-ul-Qudoori sharif.
I couldn't get the logic behind one thing, that if you want to do ba'y of Olive oil with olives, then in order to avoid the condition of Riba, the Olive oil should be more than the olives.
If we have a can of 10 Litres full of olives, then we should have Olive oil that should be more than 10 litres. So we took the example if we have 10 litres of Olives, then we should have 11 litres olive oil(assumed) as 10 litres wont work. The extra 1 Litre would be be considered the price of the leftover Olives after oil has been extracted

My question is that, how can more than 10 Litre Olive oil be extracted from Olives that occupy a volume of 10 Litres?

Then why 10 litres olive wont be correct with 10 litres of olive oil if ba'y is to take place.

jazakAllah.

I think the above is related to avoiding jahalah in bai'
