Salam 'Aleykum,
1734. Ibn Mas`ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said, "A true believer does not taunt or curse or abuse or talk indecently.'' [at-Tirmidhi and he said: Hadith Hasan]. Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: "Do you know who is poor?" they (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: "A poor man amongst us is one who has neither dirham with him nor wealth." He (the Holy Prophet) said: "the poor of my Ummah would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrecton with prayers and fasts and Zakat but (he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues) since he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one (who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in (his account) and he would be thrown in the hell-Fire." [Sahih Muslim - Book #032, Hadith #6251] |

The gist of what the respected scholar is saying is that God will reward those who recognise who the enemies of Islam/the prophet (pbuh) are.
So he says a man came to him and said that he didn't know any of the duas people do during tawaaf. He was asked further and it transpired he didn't even know the full bismillah, so the respected scholar says in that case you can curse the Wahhabis. Now, all these hadiths about cursing etc...who knows more a scholar or a lay member of the Sunni forum? Even if you think he's a deviant. Salam |

Even many of the barelwi's have beef with him, due to certain rumours. And other scholars have commented on this hadith and no one of them will agree with what this guy is saying. Who knows more, the vast majority of Ulema, or this guy? ![]() |
