Nowadays We Come Across At Work/Colleges/Universities People Who We Find Hard To Differentiate If They Are Muslims Or Not. Many Of Us Have Close Friends/Family Who Even Then We Find Hard To Talk To Them About Our Religion. What Da'wah Work Would You Recommend Others To Do So That They Can Be Guided Back On To The Sraight Path? The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalam And The Sahabas Went Through Hardships To Spread Deen Around The World. We Cannot Even Tell Our Closest Of Friends Things Because We Have In The Back Of Our Mind 'That They Will Take It Bad If We Tell Them. Help Bring Out Ideas On How We Can Help Our Friends And Families Out There So They Are Not Led Astray. If You Go Jamaat Out Of Your City Only Then You'l Realise How Deprived People Are And Only Then You Will Come To Realise How Lucky Us People Are To Have What We Have. Jamaats Have Gone To Little Islands And Brought Back Deen In Them Small Islands And Towns. How Can We Start Today In Our Own Locality And Bring Back Deen In Our Friends/Associates Lives?

![]() ![]() There is great wisdom & immense hikmah behind the Tabligh Jamat's 5 activities, do it with ikhlaas + isteqaamatt, and if you think you can do more or want to do more, do mashwara with the elders of your city. (Yeah, I know that the Prophets -PBUT- & the Sahabah ra devoted their whole life) May Allah be pleased with you brother, Summa Aameen and may we all get the fikr that you have for the ummah. Summa aameen again. Those posters are really good, ![]() |

Ameen... The Posters Are The Basics For New Muslims As Well As Those Who May Not Know Much About Islam But Who Are Muslims. Jazakallah For The Advice. I Was Thinking That People On Here Are From Different Areas And Can Start Different Types Of 'Dawah' Work In Their Own Localities With The Guidance Of The Elders.

assalaamu 'alaykum ww
One of the things that i have heard Shaykh Muhammad Saleem Dhorat (hafizahullah) mention is that we should first attain knowledge on many basics regarding aqeedah and also regarding certain issues on which there is widespread misconception i.e. hijaab, status of women in islam, intermingling etc. Attain correct information by contactimg Ulama and be prepared for "discussions" with non muslims and with those of our brothers and sisters who are influenced by western cultures. This info can then be used to propagate Islam at work places/colleges/universities and within family/friend circles. Personally i have found this advice very beneficial...certain topics are bound to come up at these places. As for within the family, we can bring up these topics and within the conversation we can easily (with the help of Allah Almighty) propagate with hikmat and beautiful akhlaaq the beautiful teachings of Islam. Islam should not be protrayed as harsh as this far from the truth. The beauty of the teachings of Islam should be portrayed through first and foremost, practice and then giving da'wah...and may Allah accept us for this purpose, aameen. Jazakallaah khayran for this beneficial thread. |
