I guess it would depend on their intention. If they've said it to imply that you are a a good, trustworthy, pious brother who has control over his nafs and they all love you for that, then I don't see anything haram about that at all. If they've said it to imply that each are interested in being your girlfriend, then what they've said may not be haram (though it would be inappropriate) but entering into an actual relationship would be.

You should ask an imam about this.

Some ancient Arab names would sound very weird for us today, so if you read Hadiths then "ibn al-Majnoun" isn't that weird trust me

This kind of thing is what most brothers are afraid of, especially those who are really sensitive towards girls. They end up either committing the worst, or hastingly choosing a marriage partner who will be no good to them. May Allah protect us from that. Me personally, I'm a scary guy. If any girl would do that to me, I would make her the laughing stock of the whole world, so that no one would go after her after that, and probably crush her self respect and honour permanantly.
