There was something I wanted to post on the recent thread made on the fatwa given by Deoband regarding multiple marriages. Many users on the forum [old & new] spent a lot of time debating that. Well, here's an advice by my bro's teacher at Deoband: He advised us not to get involved in the debates, discussions and arguments as they have always been there and they will always be until the Last Day, there will be people who will always like to pick and choose things and in this age of the Internet, even more so. So forget and move on. Do NOT waste your time and efforts. InshaAllah for the last time from me on this topic, here's something from the Terms of Use page from the Darul-Ifta website. This site is ONLY for personal and non-commercial use. Generally, the questions asked herein have personal touch; accordingly the answers are given as per the tone and nature of the questions. Sometimes, the questions are short so the answers given also are to-the-point and do not include related details. Therefore, one should explore fatwas of related topic then should reach a conclusion. Similarly, answer to a same question may differ sometime as per the personal details and circumstances of country of the questioner concerned. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to go through other related fatwas to get a clear idea of the matter. If there is something objectionable, ambiguous or offensive, Darul Uloom Deoband should directly be contacted in order to clear the doubt. It should be avoided to propagate the misconception without giving Darul Uloom Deoband a chance for clarification and justification. Clearly for some people, getting to the source means logging onto www.google.com May Allah SWT guide us all and save us from going astray, summa aameen. |
