Default Sigh : What has this world come to? :/
What has this World come to ? what have even we muslims come to ?? Daily 10000's of innocent humans are killed , Daily non stop injustice is being done to people - Love has been far gone from this World - Father hates son , son hates father , daughter hates mother , mother hates daughter , mothers have become slaves while daughters have become Mistresses , Family betrays
Family , Relatives betrays Relatives , Wife is not truthful to Husband commits zina in his absence , Husband is not truthful to wife , commits zina in her absence ,, Zina is increasing day by day i have been witnessing with my own eyes - gays are increasing , Pornography has become FAvourite past time among youth - only betrayal is left friendship is gone from hearts - most people are becoming atheists , have forgotten ALLAH -

what the hell has this world come to ? :s How to live as an innocent man in such a world ?

akhi.

None of these are new problems. These issues have been there for ages. It might have been increased a bit. But if we are already fed up, just think about the fitnah when Dajjal comes. May Allah protect us. ameen.

Bro, do not despair. Always have hope in Allah Ta'ala. Besides this Dunya was created imperfect and it is temporary. Be strong.

It's sad and true.. unfortunately, I don't get along with my dad too well, but our relationship is improving (or rather, I'm just getting more patient ) ma sha Allah.

We should all try our hardest to be patient like the Prophet and be tolerant of those who we don't get along with, and be loyal to people and just be the most genuine we can, insha'Allah.

these are the signs of the Qayamah...

look for the website or find some books which says major/minor signs of Qayamah..
true and also we have been given guidance as to how to live in these testing times too and the rewards of sabr and consistency in our good deeds
we have the tools and requisite knowledge and techniques to deal with much worse too
alhamdulillah.

may allah s.w.t. keep us all on the right path always.
and may we all learn to ask him for help only

What are each one of us reading this thread doing to put such people on the right path ? Don't reply but let's act. Transform sorrow into positive projects.

Wassalam.

I'm suprised that you guys already don't believe that we are living in the time of the Dajjal.

Seriously. All his manifestations are already apparent. People are running towards the glittery water of this world instead of taking the fire of hardship and faith. How many people are asking the internet for answers to their questions? Who doesn' tthink that 'sheikh google' has all the answers? How many of you don't think the spies see everything you've written all over facebook, on this forum, or on your mobile fone accounts, in your emails, on your ipad/phone/mac/ whatever....

If you thought you weren't already in the 'web' - May Allah protect you and make you more aware.

What is the point in believing in a God that sees all, if you do not believe that He sees you? And what is the point, in my even making a post like this?

I guess maybe some people don't really realise it yet....and our children and the young people...are yet to face the worst of it.

So protect yourselves with continual regular small acts of good and, don't despair, for Iblis (the all despairing) loves that, and remember, we all have that light of Allah ready to burn bright inside of us, with His constant remembrance...in all that we do, for all that we do can turn into an act of worship, from chopping onions to driving the car, to teaching your child maths.

The world has come to nafsy nafsy....me me.......but islam is not mee mee...islam is us, our neighbour, our cat, the birds, the trees, the seas, its earth, its looking after it...that way we end up benefitting our soul....and May Allah be pleased with us.

Authobillahiminashaytanirajeem...May God protect me and veil me on account of my post. And help everyone upon the this path towards Allah. Please forgive me everyone...I just read my words about....dear white falcon, remember the Prophet's (SAW) words, when he said, that if the end of time was to come, and you were planting a seed, then continue to plant it....

What do you reckon those words (paraphrased, may Allah forgive me) mean?

planting a seedling - an act of good, may to you, no matter how small it is, seem so insignificant....but the truth of the the matter is, before Allah, it may be so weighty, and so valuable, you may not know the ultimate blessing, or benefit that may be derived from such a tiny planting of a seedling...a tiny good act.....is not the same as a bad act. The weight and severity of one act of good can never be underestimated.

Be that in the short term or the long term. Not withstanding the difficulty of planting a seed or continuing with a small act of good, imagine, with the world coming down around you? one would ask, why bother? It would take an act of sheer courage, or belief to not to drop that seed (or intended act)....and run away. We can't run away. If our seeds are only even our tasbees upon our lips, that is sure to benefit than despair. (Satan's ultimate game plan, make us despair and stop what we're doing.. )

We cannot see behind the scenes of this reality, behind this three dimensional world view.....there is more to it..

From your blessings, to the long term benefit and effects to you and to those it affects and the reciprocal overal benefit to society at large.

Whatever good anyone may take from this is from Allah and whatever bad is from me, and I ask you to forgive me and for His forgiveness.

It is difficult. But agree that patience key. It is not easy. I was reading one of the threads...about arguments in the masjid...if you can't even go to the masjid, where can you go? Oh Lord, please help us all. We are weak without Your Strength.

i think OP is looking for some solution..so i second @ahmed's post..
And I second my own post, I think we need to transform our sorrow into positive projects, the more we feel depressed by a situation the more we should endeavour to change things, with the same intensity at least. I rather think we're living in a time of opportunities. Maybe I sound optimistic...

Wassalam.

Well I know why, I think..
We as Muslims must keep our nations as one united!
But we're not united, and another thing is that the population of humans keep increasing, so more sin? But the thing is we have to look at the bright side.

We as Muslims must keep our nations as one united! Salam, Fully Agree! The problem is unity. If we look at the Non Muslim states be it UK, USA, Australia etc. All of them tell their citizens to unite, to be loyal to each other in every situation. Imagine if all Muslims united as Muslims, that is more than a billion strong. This world would change for the good. If we stay apart then nothing can be solved.

Being united and asking Allah = victory. Everyone knows if Muslims united no one could stop us. So many Muslims and Non Muslims are finding it very hard living in the UK, USA because of economy etc, Islam could solve their problems we just need to unite together as ONE. and we would change the world.

Instead we argue about my car being better than yours, or your house being better than mine. As soon as we forget this Dunya and unite we will be unstoppable and all injustices will be wiped off this planet, we pray may Allah unite His believers.

Muhammad (pbuh) said "I am worried for my Ummah because the Dunya will be opened up for them" How right was Muhammad (pbuh) to worry . We have all forgot the hereafter and we remember the Dunya.

Unite and forget the Dunya!

Salam

There is a tradition that says that beloved Prophet (PBUH) said that a believer is a soldier (jundiyun).
It means that a believer is ever alert.
We got to keep that in mind and implement it.
In your age you focus on your studies.
After that always do your duties to the best of your abilities. And that is all.
We have not been given much power over others. They may or may not act according to tenets of Islam.
This leads us to the questions regarding Dawah.
Of course we must do that - that is part of the duties of a believer.
