Does anybody know what the equivalent would be in sterling pounds of the amonunt paid in Jizya by non muslims in this day and age?

According to the Shafi‘is, the jizya for the poor is 1 dinar (USD 246.17), for average is 2 dinar (USD 492.33), and for the affluent is 4 dinar (USD 984.66).

According to the Hanbalis, the jizya for the poor is 12 dirham (USD 35.57), for average is 24 dirham (USD 71.15), and for the affluent is 48 dirham (USD 150.00).

This is slightly off-topic but why is it more expensive to pay for scaring someone so much that they defecate, urinate, or even break wind (1/7 diya) than it is for causing such injury that bone is exposed on the face or the head (1/20 diya) or when there is a loss of an entire finger (1/10 diya)? Anyone know if this is applicable in the Hanafi madhhab as well?
