![]() I request other friends to add to the list of possible oppressions. I can think of these- -To not allow her to meet and/or phone her parents and other Mahrams at reasonable intervals is oppression. - Not to take her to a doctor or bring her medicines with out a valid reason when she is sick is inhuman . -To always expect her family to give you gifts and parties is oppression. -To not arrange for her minimally required proper Islamic education and Tarbiyah and Tazkiya is oppresion. -not to take her out (with purdah/hijab ofcourse) or arrange for halal recreation with out a valid reason is oppression.(My shaikh advised me to take my wife out atleast once a week.) -To force her to cook or do house-hold work when she is sick or tired is oppression. |
