 Anyone from Turkey
AssalaamuAlaikum
Can anyone from turkey please let me know where is the Cave that is mentioned in Quran in the Surah the Cave. I was told it is somewhere in Turkey. My cousin is visiting Tutrkey and she will call me to know about it`s location. Please I need a quick reply. Jazaak Allah. Wassalaam |

 ashabi kahf cave is in tarsus in mersin tell your sister to visit my hometown as well, she will like you can see my hometown photos in my web space, i can help them as well, she should also visit Sanliurfa in which prophet Ibrahim was thrown into fire. The woods turned out to be fish, there is a lake over there. If she goes to western coast, she cant find much islamic sites. I can recommend a way to visit. Istanbul, There is no need to talk of Istanbul much. Never miss visiting Eyüp Sultan Masjid. Mihmandari Nabawi Abu Ayyub Al Ansari's grave is there. Edirne: there is a beautiful masjid. Selimiye Masjid is the masterpiece of mimar sinan who was a famous turkish architect. Its minarets have three balconies, and as people go up, they dont see each other, each balconies have their own way. It is the biggest historic masjid in Turkey. Bursa: There are many beautiful masjids and tombs to visit. Amasya: A small and beautiful town. Ottoman sultans were educated in Amasya, There are many beautiful masjids in every corner. Sanliurfa: Halilurrahman Masjid is a must seen. Trabzon: Black sea coast is beautiful. City centre is not really beautiful, but countryside is gorgeous.You can think of creation of Allah taala better. Konya: Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi's grave is there. People say visit konya and see the whole word. It is a beautiful place. these are some tips i can give.

I thought that the cave was in Jordan.. i was just there and i visit Qasid Arabic institute and they told me the cave was located in Jordan

AssalaamuAlaikum
JAzaakAllah brother. I did tell them I think the cave is 20-25 km from Izmir in the city of Ephasus(I dont know if I have spelt it right). Anyways they told me tha they would be in Istanbul and Ismir is quite far. So they wont be able to make me. Kindly let me know about the place Prophet Ibrahim AW was thrown in the fire. I plan to go to turkey I would really want to visit the place. How far is it from Istanbul. JazaakAllah |

AssalaamuAlaikum it is NOT in ephesus, it is in Tarsus in Mersin.They must go to Tarsus to see the cave. Prophet Abraham's place is Sanliurfa which is 10-12 hours away by bus from istanbul. It is in east of Turkey.

I’m inshallah visiting Istanbul, Turkey in the end of May 2012. I saw Neyzen reply on post#4 which is very helpful. Can you brother Neyzen let me know how can I utilize my time good there? I’ll be staying there 3 Nights and 4 days Inshallah. I’m going there with my wife. I mostly want to spend time in visiting Muslim Places (Historical will be nice). If not Brother Neyzen, than anyperson can please reply. Jazak Allah Khair. |
