Asalamu Aleikum who is your Favourite Recitor of Quran - of course whoever recites Quran his recitation is always great but still tajweed wise who is the best one and who is your favourite ?

My favourite qari (with tarannum) is the late Dato' Ismail Hashim (Malaysia) (nawwar allaahu marqadahu)

However, I remember I heard once somebody said that (meaning more or less) a good reciter of the qur'an is not he who has beautiful voice, but is who when recite the qur'an, you can feel that he has the fear of ALLAH in his heart...

if based on that criteria, I think my fav reciter would be the late Maulana Muhammad Umar Palanpuri (nawwar allaahu marqadahu), as once in his bayan he recited some verses from the Qur'an, and my eyes could not stop from weeping...

Yea, Shuraim is also good if you like fast recitations.
