Harun Yahya is a good evolution debunker, but not good at all when it comes to Islam, thus best stay away from his 'Islamic' teachings
sometimes he shows very good Islamic awareness such as when he emphasises the importance and infallibility of consensus' of traditional scholarship, but other times he completey looses the plot such as when he says the Mahdi [as] will be a Turk, or that Allah is everywhere litterally... |

hmm actually - his books which are against theory of evolution are must read for all muslims - i am sorry i did gheebat of him actually , just because of few flaws its doesnt mean we should avoid a person 100% - his books refuting evolution , and anti zionism , anti free masons are just simply brilliant

..... .....anyways his own writings exposed him years ago so any of his views even legitimate should be shunned. ...other times he completey looses the plot such as when he says the Mahdi [as] will be a Turk, or that Allah is everywhere litterally... |

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم A`ūdhu billāhi min ash-shaitāni r-rajīm b-ismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm May Allah (SWT) protect us all from deception. Best to steer clear of that which is questionable; it does nothing but cause confusion. Show us the straight way: The way of those on who Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. (1:6-7) |

![]() There is an utterly destructive FLAW in thinking among Muslims which is ZERO SUM. First, when it comes to Muslim Dawa carriers, if he is not exactly like oneself in everything, including the length of his beard, then he is cast off. Salafi are renowned for this ZERO SUM intolerance such that many began destroying each other for the slightest miswording. in recent years, after years of 'eating the flesh of their brothers', many salafi brothers have broken off and no longer attack and attempt to destroy every Muslim who dares to stand up to kufr. However, there are still those who attack everyone regardless. Second, after 9/11, Sunnis and Sufis hardened their own perception of Muslims especially "Wahhabis", adopting the ZERO SUM measure. Depending one's locality, anyone NOT of one's own order or of known Sunni scholars was a WAHHABI and therefore utterly reprehensible. All 'WAHHABIS' were condemned to be extremists and any persecution of them by kufar or regimes was seen as favorable (Naqshbandi leaders proudly conspired with Bush and Cheney against Muslims in America and elsewhere). Third, among ahlil Sunnah, this ZERO SUM measurement was used largely on Muslims, but not Kufar, and not Muslim regimes. Almost everyday here in the GCC, I hear Muslims judging and condemning fellow Muslims for the slightest errors or failings, but defend kufar and their evils which they spread everywhere. Most of my life as a Muslim, I have seen this among rival Muslim groups of all kinds: rival nationalities (Arab vs. Pakistani, Egyptian vs. Zalamat and Algerian, Salafi vs. all others, Sunni vs. "Wahhabi"). At some point, believers have to look at the GOOD of concepts and thoughts and set aside the error in character of fellow Muslims- as the Shakespearean reframe goes: "don't shoot the messenger". As for Harun Yahya, he is in many ways a reflection of Turkish society itself. There is good in what he does, but the failings and errors can be destructive. But how many of you know what is going on in Turkey? The vast majority of what Turkey propagates and produces in terms of culture and media, is utterly MUNKAR!!! It's culture of mixing genders, of fahsha, of secularism (removing any Islam from daily life, except in a few rituals), of kufr economics and politics, is communicated around the Arab and neighboring countries 24/7. It is utterly disgusting. And an increasing number of Arab Muslims are exposed to this Turkish filth (usually dubbed in arabic) on top of the filth produced in Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and the Gulf. In this context, Harun Yahya is an anomaly- a tiny beacon of light albeit flawed in a storm of darkness and contagion. Believers have to stand for GOOD and stand against EVIL no matter who joins in either. a Jew or even an atheist can call for GOOD and stand against EVIL. What is most important is making the concept clear. And Allah knows best. |

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم A`ūdhu billāhi min ash-shaitāni r-rajīm b-ismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm Gören göz kılavuz istemez. I wouldn't classify his views as "a tiny beacon of light... in a storm of darkness and contagion" I would classify the views expressed by Oktar (aka Harun Yahya) as a part of the said "storm of darkness and contagion." The situation in Turkey is complex and there are efforts towards goodness that have nothing to do with Oktar... I don't see how classifying everything coming out of Turkey, with the exception of Oktar, as filth is in keeping with the standards you mention should be upheld. And Allah (SWT) knows best. |
