dear brothers,

Would like to know from learned shuyookh of tasawwuf here..

1.What is munasibat ?
2. How do i know, that i have munasibat with my shaykh ?
3. If there is no munasibat, then there is no use in bayt ? or does it gradually develop?

I think brothers have answered Q#1 very well as for your Q#2 I may suggest a way , you or your friends may find it useful.

Hazrat Molana Faqeer Muhammad Peshawari R.A would recommend a new comer to attend his majlis 3 times and after 3 attendance if his heart is still willing to attent more majlis this is then because of munasibat and of course the person will get bayt , basically this was the easy way for a mureed to find his munasibat with any sheikh.

Later on in my life I have told my friends to use this simple formula of three sittings (either in a week or 1 sitting in a week doesn't matter) so they can find a sheikh with munasibat and it has worked.

One of my friends once visited my Sheikh Hazrat Halimi R.A, and after that meeting as we left hazrat on my way back my friend said I want bayt with your sheikh, I reported this to Halimi Sahib R.A and he said at this age I am too old to take care of more mureeds and I have khulafa where your friend can get bayt , he will still have same Faiz. I told this to my friend and he refused the offer, I told him if he wants to attend Hazrat R.A majlis and he opted for that on his 1st attendence I told him if he attends 3 majalis and finds munasbat we can still request Hazrat, he attended more then three majalis and he would talk about Hazrat every time he met me then he skipped a few sitting maybe 2 sitting(I don't remember exactly), a few days later he came to my house with a box of sweets and said last night I had a dream Hazrat R.A ordered me to attend Khankha, and today I went to see Hazrat R.A at there home told my dream and Hazrat bayt me. (even though Hazrat told him to look for others once he attended 3 sittings and found munasbat,he was accepted)

A murid (a person who's not a alim just the every day normal guy, earning bread & butter for living e.g busy man) will be asked to read three books of Hazrat Thanvi R.A

1 Talim ud Din
2 Hayat ul Muslimeen
3 Shariat o Tariqat

Attend Sunday sermons at Khanqa, there used to be a zikr e jahr after the bayan, Which Hazrat R.A lead and the attendees would repeat (ALLAH HO, ALLAH HO ALLAH ,,,, etc) then dua, you would stay in touch with hazrat and any problems (Wordly/Deeni/Personal)you discuss, anecdotes will be advised accordingly.

Yes,jazakAllah,it was helpful,......but what I meant was his individual dealings with a mureed,like would he give bara tasbeeh as zikr or any other zikr,which he would give to mureed after bayat ?
