The translation is as follows: The slave does not veil/conceal (the faults) of another slave in the world except that Allah will conceal/veil (his faults) on the Day of Resurrection (Qiyaamah).

This is a rough translation. Other brothers/sisters more knowledgeable in Arabic will be able to provide a better translation.

I do not have the reference for this Hadith.

I believe this is the correct translation. I do not know arabic, those who know can confirm.

- وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم قال : [لا يستر عبد عبدا في الدنيا إلا ستره الله يوم القيامة ] رواه مسلم
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him)reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Allah will cover up on the Day of Resurrection the defects (faults) of the one who covers up the faults of the others in this world".
[Muslim]

Al Salamu 3alaikum

Yes, I think the first translation is closer to the text while the second gives the meaning of the hadith. If I was to translate it would be "A slave of Allah does not conceal the faults/sins/defects of another slave of Allah in this world, except that Allah will conceal for him (his faults/sins/defects) on the day of Qiyamah" which is basically what Brother Abd wrote, and as Brother Amr wrote this hadith is in Sahih Muslim.
