I've had the book for a few days now. The translation is extremely literal, to the point of being grammatically incorrect in many places. As a result it is difficult to understand the intended meaning of a significant proportion of sentences. Literally, it's a problem solving exercise trying to work out what is being expressed. I'm enjoying the read as I like puzzle solving and deciphering texts. I'm strange that way. However, I would not recommend anyone purchasing this book without reading some of it first.

All volumes of Maktubat-e-Rabbaani has already been translated into Bangla by a Naqhsbandi shaykh. So, for Bangla-speaking people, its a great blessing.

Well,it is very difficult to understand maktoobat even in Urdu,or the Persian language in which it was originally written. It is the content and concepts of the book which makes it difficult; Most of the material is basically for scholars, specially masters of 'ILMUL KALAM'----Obviously translation into English must be much more difficult.
But then,Sulook is all practical anyway,is it not?
