Default How can you forgive someone?
Salaamu alaiykum
If a person has done something to affect your relationship with Allah e.g. trick you to eat something haram or plot to make you do something haram or encourage or even threaten you to do something haram, how can you forgive such a person? He made you more vulnerable to sin then you've ever been and you haven't experienced a bigger struggle against your desires than when he encourages you. How can one forgive such a person? Should we forgive such a person for trying to send you to fire of hell? Intentionally or unintentionally? Any advice?
Jazakallahu khaiyrun.

Think about the day of judgement and how you will be stood in front of Allah swt with your sins and will want mercy from your lord.

None of us are perfect. Insha'allah he will realise his mistakes.

Forgive him the way you want Allah swt to forgive you, insha'alla
