![]() What is a "moral sociey"? Morals are only reflected in the actions which a society allow, disallow, prefer, etc. Hence, morality is directly tied to the laws of a society. A society which legalizes all zina cannot then claim to be moral regarding maintaining the fidelity of marriage. It is incorrect to presume 'morals' can dominate a society when NOT being represented in the laws of that society. Rather, the way to a MORAL society is for the laws to reflect those morals. Thus, the 'system' of governance and the concepts surrounding them are in tandem with the expected conduct of the people. Hence, to be 'moral' regarding marriage, zina must be outlawed and promotion of zina in culture via media must be criminalized or at least suppressed and the political leadership must support and advocate all of these: criminalization of zina, promotion of fidelity and marriage, suppression of immoral thoughts in media, etc. |
